GENERAL ENGINEERING TRAINING AT IMT MINES ALBI

Unlike specialized engineers, general engineers are multi-skilled. They have scientific and technical knowledge in all areas of engineering, enabling them to develop professionally in most sectors and functions. At IMT Mines Albi, you'll have the time to work with your mentor to define the career path that's right for you. The generalist engineering degree will enable you to work not in one particular sector, but in a wide range of fields linked to the ecological, digital and factory transitions of the future.
This 3-year course will provide you with the fundamental knowledge and multi-disciplinary outlook that companies are looking for. As part of your generalist curriculum, you will follow the following courses: fundamental sciences (solid and fluid mechanics, numerical calculation, etc.), engineering techniques (information systems, data sciences, energy and the environment, etc.) and general training (languages and interculturality, teamwork, etc.).
