An Advanced Master’s® in Eco-Construction
The BE+ Specialized Master® in Positive Energy Building trains experts in passive and bioclimatic design, who know how to :
• quantify a building's energy requirements
• integrate notions of thermal and acoustic comfort;
• dimension energy equipment;
• apply circular economy approaches;
• consider the building in its environment.

Curriculum of the Advanced Master’s® in Eco-Construction
The overall hourly volume is 560 hours, including theoretical and practical teaching and activities within the framework of a multi-disciplinary scientific and technical project, and a 6-month internship to be carried out in a company (from March to September).
The courses are taught by research professors (1/3) and professional experts specialized in the trades and tools presented (2/3).
Comfortable housing (7 ECTS)
• Fundamentals of heat engineering & thermal comfort
• Indoor air quality
• Acoustic and visual comfortBuilding shell & energy systems (8 ECTS)
• Scaling energy systems
• Renewable energies
• Thermal renovation & energy efficiencyModeling for buildings (9 ECTS)
• Methods and tools for dynamic thermal modeling of buildings
• Digital modeling (BIM)Building integration & environment (11 ECTS)
• Bioclimatic architecture
• Urban planning
• Tools and approaches for sustainable developmentCase study (10 ECTS)
- Scientific and technical project
- VisitsThe scientific and technical project is a case study carried out in response to a request from a local authority or association for information on possible improvements to an existing building as part of a thermal renovation project. This group project places students in the role of project manager. Part of the timetable for this unit is dedicated to visits to building sites and/or neighborhoods, participation in housing theme days and conferences designed to open students' minds.
Internship, 6-month (10 ECTS)
To complete the schooling and validate the curriculum, a 6-month internship is also required, with the aim of putting into practice the ability to grasp an industrial problem in its broadest sense: scientific, economic, organizational, relational, human...
Professional thesis (10 ECTS)
The work carried out in the company during the internship gives rise to a thesis and an oral presentation, which are assessed by the school.
Training also available under a professionalization contract
If you choose to complete the Mastère Spécialisé® BE+ under a work-study contract, 75% of your training will take place in a company, enabling you to combine theoretical training with work experience. From February onwards, you'll be working full-time in the company. For more information on the work-study schedule, please contact our training department.
