Successful renewal of ISO 9001:2015 certification for IMT Mines Albi

IMT Mines Albi has been ISO 9001:2015 certified since March 2020. At the end of 2021, the school has successfully renewed its certification without any non-conformities. This is the result of a collective effort by all IMT Mines Albi staff and administrators, committed to the same objective: continuous improvement.

IMT Mines Albi, a fast-growing school

Established in 1993, IMT Mines Albi has grown considerably over its 28 years of existence: a substantial number of new degree courses have been opened, the international orientation has been affirmed, and the number of engineering students is growing rapidly. The ISO 9001:2015 standard is the ideal tool for reflecting on the way the school operates.

IMT Mines Albi aims to maintain this level of excellence, while providing a motivating working environment in which everyone can develop. The process approach, at the heart of the ISO standard, supports this commitment by gradually decompartmentalizing the missions of each individual.

Structuring activities and documenting them provides greater transparency. The staff involved report that they have acquired a better overall vision of how the school operates: management is clearer, and decision-making understood. As a direct consequence, the new reputation of certain activities enhances the self-esteem of the staff in charge of them; they see themselves as part of the school's strategy and testify to the simplification of their day-to-day work.
