You'll experience total immersion in French culture. You will work with qualified teachers to facilitate your integration. The aim of this French Summer School is to prepare you to be autonomous and successful in your studies in France.
A perfect environment for learning French
- Quality teaching and personalized support
Organized in small groups of 12 to 16 students, courses are taught by qualified teachers. This proximity enables our teachers to provide personalized follow-up for each student, enabling you to increase your level from B1 to B2.
• Acquire or improve your French skills by following a program adapted to your level;
• Facilitate your arrival in France and your adaptation to an engineering school;
• Develop your skills in scientific French;
• TWork on a scientific project to facilitate your integration;
• Benefit from courses that will make you aware of interculturality and enable you to communicate effectively across cultures.
Courses are designed to follow the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). Groups are formed according to individual levels. You'll be regularly assessed to see how you're progressing and to pinpoint any difficulties you may have, and you'll work with qualified teachers to facilitate your integration.
- A warm welcome
Your arrival is made easy by the school: all administrative and logistical aspects are handled in advance by the school.
The school welcomes you on arrival at Toulouse airport and takes you directly to your apartment on the school campus. We'll help you open a bank account and take care of all the administrative formalities involved in settling in France.
- Reserved on-campus accommodation
Accommodation is reserved for you directly on campus or in one of our downtown residences. The apartments are fully equipped and spacious (18 m2). They include a private bathroom and kitchenette.
Living on campus gives you access to all these facilities:

During your stay at the French Summer School, IMT Mines Albi offers a wide range of activities to help you discover France. All activities are supervised by a student and included in the program price.

Albi is a welcoming and dynamic city, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can visit Sainte Cécile cathedral, the Toulouse Lautrec museum or the city's historic center.

• Preferential rate for students from partner institutions and/or future students of IMT Mines Albi or an IMT network school: €900
• Standard rate: €1,200
Payment includes courses, visits and activities. It does not include accommodation, meals and insurance. You can pay directly online on this site.
- Cancellation policy
If you do not receive your passport or visa, and you are not responsible for this error (proof required), you will be reimbursed in full except for administrative costs, worth €100. If you cancel your participation after the start of the French Summer School, unfortunately no fees will be refunded.
