The PhD is recognized as the highest level degree. The PhD involves training through research in a laboratory or research center. The PhD program is organized by the doctoral school to which the PhD student belongs. The work culminates in a thesis defended before a jury. IMT Mines Albi is authorized to award PhDs.

To complete your general engineering degree, you must carry out an internship with a company abroad and/or academic exchange semesters with an institution or university abroad. IMT Mines Albi offers a wide range of dual degrees and academic exchanges in France and around the world, in partnership with prestigious institutions.
