An Advanced Master’s® in Eco-Construction
The Advanced Master’s® in Energy-Plus Buildings - BE+ will provide you with the keys and methodological tools you need to meet the expectations and requirements of the various regulations and laws in force for buildings, from thermal, energy and eco-design perspectives:
• Energy Transition Act for Green Growth
• Anti-Waste and Circular Economy Act (AGEC)
• RE 2020 energy regulations, which replace the RT 2012 thermal regulations, imposing the “low-energy building” (BBC) standard on future constructions.
Become an eco-construction expert
The Advanced Master’s® in Energy-Plus Buildings - BE+ at IMT Mines Albi is accredited by the Conférence des Grandes Écoles (CGE). This course is for you if you want to:
• contribute to building a cleaner world;
• become an expert in reducing the environmental impact of sustainable construction and renovation;
• have a meaningful career.

• Renewable energies
• Thermal renovation & energy efficiencyModeling for buildings
• Methods and tools for dynamic thermal modeling of buildings
• Digital modeling (BIM)Building integration & environment
• Bioclimatic architecture
• Urban planning
• Tools and approaches for sustainable developmentScientific and technical project/Visits
Renovation project for an existing building owned by a local authority or association. This project, tutored by IMT Mines Albi’s research professors, places the students, in groups of 3-4, in the role of project manager. Part of the schedule for this unit is dedicated to visits to building sites and/or residential areas, participation in housing-related events and conferences designed to broaden students’ perspectives.
Internship and final year project
To complete the program and obtain the degree, a 6-month internship is also required. The purpose of this internship is to put into practice your ability to grasp an industrial problem in its broadest sense: scientific, economic, organizational, relational, human, etc. A report is required at the end of the internship to obtain the necessary credits.
